Nødnett is a national, digital communication network for the police, fire and health services, as well as other preparedness users.
The new nødnett
The Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom) is responsible for the work on the new emergency network and works closely with the Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB), which still has responsibility for the current emergency network.
