Ski safely on the slopes

Wear a helmet and back protector, stay within marked runs, and follow the slope rules – this increases safety for both yourself and others.

Protect your head and back

Use CE-marked personal protective equipment such as a helmet, back protector, and ski goggles when skiing. This protects the most vulnerable parts of your body.

Stay on marked runs

Do not ski outside groomed runs or other designated areas. Outside the slopes, the snow is often loose and provides poor protection against rocks, stumps, and other hazards that may be hidden beneath the snow.

Ski resorts are responsible for clearly marking and securing the runs – by following the resort’s instructions, you help prevent injuries and dangerous situations.
