About DSB as an employer
The DSB is a directorate under the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. We are around 700 employees, and you will find us in 30 different places in Norway – from Kristiansand in the south to Hammerfest in the north.
At our head office in Tønsberg, about 300 people work. The rest work in our departments for emergency and emergency communication, the supervisory regions for electrical inspections, the Fire and Rescue School, DSB's training centre, the civil defence districts and at the Civil Defence's education and competence centre.
